QUICK MASTER again, THE BEST MADRIK second of TIMOKO in the Prix Pierre PLAZEN -g.2
After his last victory at ENGHIEN, QUICK STAR (breed and sold by Ecurie des Charmes) win again in the Prix de Beaune. He's now rich of more than 250.000€.
In the 3'y old groupe 2, Prix Pierre PLAZEN, TIMOKO (his mare has been sold at 2005 Automn Sales organized by TROTTING PROMOTION) has been really impressive, but THE BEST MADRIK (top-price of TP Yearlings Sales 2008) takes a good second place.
We are now waiting for there next fight, in the classic Prix de l'Etoile against 4 & 5 years old.

Last race before the g.1 Prix Albert VIEL (June, 20th) the Prix Kalmia has been a easy win for TUCSON. THE BEST MADRIK (top price of 2008 Yearlings Sales at VINCENNES) is a very second and very preparation for the big race.
PRETTY JET takes Prix du Rouergue, SEVERINO runs 3rd in Critérium des 4 ans

Sent off the odds-on favourite for the Critérium des 4 ans, SEVERINO chased the early leader SEIGNEUR AIMEF (who was bought back for €5.000€ at the 2yo sales at Cabourg in 2008). The son of GOBERNADOR was far from disgraced, being only caught in the dying strides by SPEEDY BLUE and SANCHO GLAY.
Later during the day, PRETTY JET, who changed hands last summer at Cabourg, scored fro the 9th time since then in the Prix du Rouergue, bringning his earnings to over €289.000.

QUID DE CHAHAINS claims scalp of RAPIDE LEBELL

The important Prix du Tréport, run this Saturday at Paris-Vincennes racecourse, resulted in a magnificent showdown opposing QUID DE CHAHAINS and RAPIDE LEBELL, both boasting very good performances at the highest level.

Off to a fast pace then settled behind the son of GINGER SOMOLLI, QUID DE CHAHAINS (a €35.000€purchase by Michel GASSELIN- Normandie Trot at the 2005 Trotting-Promotion Yearling Sale) crucified his rival in the straight. He covered the final kilometre in 1'11, and his driver Pierre LEVESQUE only had to show him the stick in the final two furlongs. The sky may be the limit for the son of COKTAIL JET, whose next outing will be eagerly expected.

RENORA confirms her outstanding ability

Top-price of the 2010 Prix d'Amérique sale, where she was bought for €135.000 by Mr. BRIAND and Mr. TALBOT from Albert CAYRON, RENORA landed her second victory for her new owners, leading from pillar to post in the Prix Appolonia on Tuesday night at VINCENNES.
The daughter of CAPRICCIO is expected to have a great 2010 season as there seems to be more to come from her.
