  Sales 2007

  The first Selected Yearling Session at Vincennes (6th September), given over to 'confirmed stallions', registered an 8% recession from it's preceding average at 23 968 €, after three previous consecutive years of progression. The final sales figure saw a slight recess of 4%. The clearance rate was established at 63% in a highly selective market. The Top Lot by JAG DE BELLOUET

  The mob descended on Cabourg racecourse to assist in the big end of year Sale, the Jean-Pierre DUBOIS part dispersal sale. From the moment the first horse passed through the great hall, the place was filled as on the final race day, the preceding August 25th. The mood was set by lot 3, OUT, holding 2 victories who made 85 000 €. Two and a half hours later, 64 of the 74 lots had been sent down, giving a clearance rate of 84% and an exceptional sales figure of 6 349 000 € with the average price at nearly 100 000€.

  The sale, organised by TROTTING PROMOTION, once again took place in ideal conditions, the sun shining, despite the weekend’s rain.   Gaining two victories this winter at Vincennes (Prix Hilda and Vic sur Cère) MARATHON MAN spectacularly made it a hat-trick on the 8th February in the Prix de L’Ille et Vilaine.

  LARRON DU BOUFFEY sold for 116 000 € , OTELLO PIERJI bought back for 265 000 € While the 19th “Expo-Etalon” exhibition and the International Trotting Village welcomed their usual hordes of crowds, the Vincennes Arts Sale, “L’Art du Trot”, was itself extremely busy. The Prix d’Amerique Sale, despite some important buybacks, was a dynamic affair. In effect, 61 % of those presented found buyers at an average of 27 615 €, compared to last year’s figure of 24 523 € for a total figure of 1 436 000 €.

  Good Hold on Stallion Shares - GOETMALS WOOD for 66 000 € and COKTAIL JET for 55 000 € The m arket in stallion shares confirmed that there is still value to be found in good pedigrees. Furthermore, shares in GOETMALS WOOD (66 000 € ), COKTAIL JET (55 000 € ) and KIWI (29 000 € et 27 000 € ) were all acquired by French breeders

  74% Sold on the Opening Day The first day of the Prix d’Amerique Trilogy got underway on a chilly afternoon, playing host to a healthy number of transactions, 74% of those presented finding buyers at an average of 11 000 €, producing a total sales figure up to 68% at 631 000 €.

  At the end of 2005, TROTTING PROMOTION can be proud of itself with 3 new Classic winners, each sold from different sessions, all organised in the last year.   Lutfi KOLGJINI bought PRINCE DE CHARMES for 200.000€ - Under a vibrant French sun and after a perfectly orchestrated morning presentation by the whole team at the Ecurie des Charmes, directed by Jan KRUITHOF, the sale for the part dispersal of the yard of M. Lucien URANO lived up to the expectations set in the 2005 catalogue during this none the less traditional session...

  The top-lot for a share in COKTAIL JET - In an ever-selective market, the sale held at Vincennes, organised by Trotting Promotion, kept a hold on the figure set the preceding year, achieving a comparable total.

  A general Vincennes Yearling Catalogue average of 20 528 € - The first session of the Selected Yearlings Sale at Vincennes, the 7th September 2005, consecrated to ‘established’ stallions, registered an average of 26 386 € , a 20% increase on that of 2004. The overall figure on the other hand saw a decrease of 13% following the increase of the last two consecutive years (+ 42 %). The percentage of lots sold was set at 62% in a very selective market.

  The Sale organised by the two great names, the Haras des COUDRAIES and the Ecurie de Jean-Etienne DUBOIS recognised great success on Wednesday 30th August at Cabourg Racecourse, with almost all the lots presented finding buyers at an average price of nearly 22.000€.

  A Selective but nevertheless supported Market for the Mixed Sale AND Breeze Well, Sold Well for the TWO YEAR OLDS - The 2005 Summer Sale, organised at Cabourg by TROTTING PROMOTION staged two sessions. The first comprised of a variety of lots and gave occasion to some great bidding with a top-lot obtained by n° 55, OTHELLO CHARMES for 58.000€, who has recently shown good form in the provinces at Enghien and is now set to join the yard of the Swedish trainer, Fredrik LARSSON.

  KOCTIFLOSA GEDE makes 120.000€ - NORRIS MATEO 58.000€ - Trotting Promotion’s Spring Sale spoke of keen interest in the functional location of the Great Hall at Vincennes Racecourse. During the morning’s procedures, a number of the inscripted lots were breezed up on the Vincennes track. This allowed the numerous 2 and 3 year-olds to show themselves off.
