The Prix d’Amérique-Marionnaud is justly considered the “Trotting World Championship”, an event awaited for by both the professionals and those passionate about trotting, in not only every corner of France but also abroad; in Europe and the USA.
As well as the usual, THE PRIX D’AMERIQUE SALE, TROTTING PROMOTION also organises the incontrovertible professional exhibition: the “EXPO- ETALONS” also incorporates the “INTERNATIONAL TROTTING VILLAGE”, a new exhibition which presents the details of Trotting to foreign countries, as well as an Arts Sale of objects to do with the horse in general and particularly the Trotter, named: L’ART DU TROT…
The PRIX D’AMERIQUE SALE takes place over three successive days the week before the Prix d’Amérique with a mixed session on the Wednesday afternoon, the Thursday evening is reserved for breeding stock (Broodmares in foal or those coming out of training as well as Stallion Shares), and finally a prestigious evening consecrated to Horses in Training on Friday.
The situation and the strategic positioning of the Prix d’Amérique Sale makes this the best Mixed Sale of the season, of which the prize list is moreover well spoken. In addition to the dams of LAZIO DU BOURG 1’13 (3 year-old Critérium gr1), LARA DU GOUTIER 1’13 (2nd Critérium des Jeunes gr1) and ONYX DU GOUTIER 1’13 ( Prix de l’Etoile gr1 2005), horses in training that have performed at the highest level have been sold, demonstrating this; the classic, KENYA DU PONT 1’12 (Criterium des 5 ans gr1), LIBERTE 1’13 (Prix Gaston de Wazières gr2) , et MIRAGE DU GOUTIER 1’11 (Prix de la Haye gr2), KID WOOD 1’15 (Prix Legoux Longpré gr2) and also MAMBO KING 1’14 (Prix Ephrem Houel gr2), JAMES DE L’ITON 1’12, MACHO DES PLATANES 1’15 et 182 063 € , NYPSON DE GERBEROY 1’13 , have all recently been sold here…
