  Cabourg Racecourse hosts, in prelude to the winter meeting, the Cabourg Autumn Sale, a mixed sale, uniting Horses in Training including 2 year-olds, with yearlings, broodmares, stallions and stallion shares.

This session is generally supported by the major studs that must renew their stock before the end of the provincial season. They therefore regularly offer the opportunity to purchase horses with attractive profiles that go on to run at the winter meetings in the South East and West and amateur races. Equally they can win valuable prizes at Vincennes as the following horses have proven, MALIKOVE 1’13 and105 610 €, NOTRE AUDACE 1’14 and 77 520 € and also MACADAM COWBOY 1’12 and 99 970 €…

It is equally a favourable time in the season for marketing in foal broodmares. Horses in training and those yet unraced are breezed up on the track that morning.
